Context:

One of the clients wanted to Identify the most appropriate patient population for the injectable and to demonstrate its value to payors despite higher upfront costs compared to oral alternatives.

Resolution:

We deployed a specialized team with deep knowledge that used single payor dataset combined with clinical insights. HEOR analytics were used to match patients based on compliance patterns and cost offsets. The model was validated using medical cost savings and real-world outcomes.

Result:

The Analytics based approach made it easier where a subpopulation was identified in which the injectable offered optimal value. Despite higher drug costs, overall medical cost savings justified coverage. The product gained traction among payors and providers by aligning with HEOR-driven evidence.
