CONTEXT

A mid-size brick-and-mortar superstore chain was aggressively investing in its retail e-commerce offering. It was able to attract a large number of customers to its website. However, corresponding visitors to dollar sales was lower than competition and declining.

RESOLUTION

Our Web and Digital Analytics consultants possessed actionable insights from day one to address this problem. We correctly identified several issues which could impact buying decisions – UI issues, complex funneling mechanism and lack of real-time recommender system. We proposed short-term and long-term roadmaps which tackled these issues and successfully implemented them with our digital analytics expertise.

RESULT

The implementation of several creative ideas combined with proven industry practices delivered quick returns by improving the shopping experience for existing customers. In addition, it provided long term benefits of increasingly converting a variety of web traffic into sales.
